Screen just says accessibility on sky Q settings or skip but remote does not work now?

Sky q box is stuck on Accessibility on sky q

offers settings or set up later cannot do anything as remote won't work now I have changed the batteries to check still does nothing

Same! Literally only the hdmi button works

Have you tried  resetting your remote.
Press the buttons 7 & 9 together on the remote until it’s led flashes four times.
Then press 1 & 3 together until the led flashes twice then follow onscreen instructions to repair the remote.

I managed to use the Sky go app remote to get myself to settings then I had to do the reset remote and now working finally
