Yeah I understood. I was just saying that will give you two possibly competing wifi networks that don't co-operate like the decos do with each other. Might be better to just turn off the wifi on the router (assuming you have 1 deco hardwired into it)

I was told if both same name then it d9esnt confuse it.
How doni turn off the WiFi on the router?

I think that's likely to be nonsense to be honest. Two different wifi networks with the same SSID seems bound to confuse devices. And if they are trying to use the same channels, even worse (though the decos might be clever enough to auto-select and avoid that)
You log into the admin portal of your router using a browser. The address of it is your "local gateway" you can see on most devices connected to it. Admin login credentials vary depending on model. Some have default passwords, most have unique ones printed on a sticker.
Having said all that, while it's working, I'd leave it well alone 😄

Before hand i had them on 2 different names so that's why I tried it with the same names as seen on line it stops them getting confused.
So far hasn't happened but will look into doing that anyway
