Sat 1 / sat 2 plastic come out of the back of sky q box

Hi there,

Hopefully someone can help. This piece has come out of the back of the sky q box, it was still attached to the wires so we have unscrewed it. I have tried to put it back in with no success, scared to push it too hard in case anything breaks. Does anyone know if it is a case of it being pushed back in? As said am scared to in case there's a knack to it or something

That will require a new box.  It would be unusual for the connectors to 'fail' without some external force.

You'll need to call Sky to arrange that.  Remember to remove your viewing card.

Ok so something obviously pulled the box one way or the cables the other way.

I'm 90% sure those connectors are supposed to be soldered to the board inside, not just push contacts so chances are a new box is needed, I would call Sky to get it swapped. They might charge some nominal fee for obvious physical damage, I don't know.
