Samsung TV and Soundbar Lip Sync

I've just bought a new Samsung TV and connected everything up and am having lip Sync issues.

 

Connection is as follows.

TV to Soundbar through eARC.

Sky Q box to TV HDMI port.

 

All native TV apps work fine but Sky box lip Sync is out - tried adjusting lip Sync setting on Sky box and also TV and it just doesn't line up.

 

Have seen a lot online about this and tried almost everything. Changed HDMI cables, Sky sound settings from Dolby to normal, TV sound to PCM and pass through but still doesn't work. 

Only solution I've so far found is to run Sky Q box to the soundbars other HDMI port but then I lose the Q-Symphony sound.


TV is a  Samsung QE55S95D

Soundbar is a Samsung Q800A

 

Any suggestions or known fixes on this?

Have you tried resetting the tv as I suggested in the avforums you also posted in, what hdmi cables are you using and how long?

Reset of TV to factory seemed to sort it...so far so good after a few weeks
