Samsung TV and Sky Q connection issued
Hi. I have recently purchased a new Samsung TV (50" QN90C Neo QLED 4K HDR Smart). I previously had an older Samsung atV but still QLED and had no issues at all. Since getting the new tv, I have had constant connection issues between tv and sky box. Probably 50% of the time when I turn the tv off and later turn it on, it will tell me there is no connection to sky box and will only reconnect once I manually turn off my sky box at the power. I can see my sky box is turned on but it won't connect no matter whether I disconnect the HDMI, and will only work actually switching the sky box off. This is annoying to say the least! I've seen a few similar issues but can't seem to find whether there has been a fix or not! Please for the love of god someone help me 🙈😩

Hi @Brad18322 With both your TV and SKYQ box on standby, turn the SKYQ box on first by pressing the SKY logo button on top of the remote?
I used to have superpowers… But a therapist took them away.

I have a new qn90d 50 inch neo connected to sky q uhd doing exactly the same. Worked well for two days then the problems started. Sky are sending out a new box but I'm not hopeful. Will I have to send the Samsung back and get a sony / LG/ etc?
Fingers 🤞 tomorrow when I connect up the new box.
