SKy Q install at block of flats
I am having Sky Q installed at my flat. For this they need access to the communal area on the roof. The landlord will only let Sky on the roof if they provide RAMS and PLI forms before they do the work. Am finding it impossible to get this information off sky and give to my landlord.

Re: SKy Q install at block of flats
I have moved your post from the Sky Talk board which is for issues with landline phones.
What have Sky said when you've asked them for this information?

Re: SKy Q install at block of flats
@SKYQinstallhelp As I understand it, if you ask the agent who initially answers your phone call to transfer you to a 'Technical Support Engineer', then they should have the ability to supply this information to your landlord.

Re: SKy Q install at block of flats
I have phoned numerous times to get this information off them and sent to my landlord. First time they said they did not know what they are and second time said the engineer will bring them on the day. I require this inforamtion befroe the visit or they wont be allowed on the roof to insyall it.

Re: SKy Q install at block of flats
@SKYQinstallhelp As I understand it, any Sky Technical Support Engineer should have had absolutely no problem in supplying copies of these basic generic compliance documents to your landlord.
So, unfortunately you will need to initially make a complaint to Sky, in order to progress what should have been a simple situation that Sky would have had to comply with, multiple times before.

If this does not produce the required solution then write a letter to Sky HQ at Isleworth, explaining that you now wish to make a 'FORMAL' complaint.

One minor point, I think it is rare to need access to the roof.
The usual access is to more local distribution 'cupboards' which I think are normally on the same floor or possibly another floor but, as I say, I don't think too often on the roof areas
(permission is still needed to access these).
