SKYQ drop outs of sound when using external Amplifier whilst watching live tv

I have my SKYQ box connetcted to my Primare amp using HDMI 4k hdmi cable. The sound is fine when watching recordings, apps but when watching live tv the sound intermitantly cut out. Have switched HDMI ports and cables but problem still exists.  I have heard that the same problem occurs on Yamaha amp. Is this a problem with SKYQ HDMI handshake ? Have tried all different options for sound on SKYQ settings but still no joy. I understand that the signal from SKY via HDMI is different for Live than all the others. Has anyone else had the same problem has anyone fixed it ?

Not that I'm aware of...

Anyway, have you tried bypassing your Amp to see if that's part of the issue?

PandJ . I'm afraid I can not by pass Primare amp as everything in my Home Cinema set up goes through it, Projector, DVD, Music Server etc etc.  So this is not an option. I can see on community that there have been many similar instances but can not find solution. Reset does not alter anything and is pointless as I have a brand new SKYQ box.

Why not?  Simply connect a spare cable directly from the Q to the TV?

Without basic troubleshooting then resolving the issue will be extremely difficult.

It is not a tv it is a projector not near Q box

Have reset q box  to factory settings and now ok Thanks
