SKY to Sky Stream (PUCK)
I have SKY Q and I find it very bitty and the multi -room lags, I Have tried everything and I was wondering wheter to use Sky Pucks instead, Maybe its a broadband issue but I have worked hard with Vodafone to fix this issue. At first Sky Q would not connect.. That being said I feel that PUCKS handle wifi better

Re: SKY to Sky Stream (PUCK)
If you want to convert to Stream then you'll have to contact Sky. (All Q hardware would have to be returned if you switch)

Sky Stream pucks are very sensitive to poor broadband and will not function well without a rock solid connection. Every single room you have a puck in would need a good, strong and stable connection.
Sky Q works differently in that miniboxes connect to a mesh network generated by your main Q box.
Sky Stream is absolutely not worth considering if you have any doubts about the quality of your broadband.

Re: SKY to Sky Stream (PUCK)
If you have picture problem with your main box it nothing to do with your broadband as it get signal from the dish outside your property if it just on your mini box that again not your broadband unless you have Sky broadband as the mini box gets it WiFi signal direct from your main box and it not getting a good connection. And yes the mini box is always slightly out snickers programme wise with the main box my system is the same if my wife is watching the same program on the main box that I am watching on the mini box in my room I can what coming out of the main box a second or so before it come out of my mini box Any if you have picture problems on your main box you need to get. Sky out to out the problem on your dish.
