SKY Q with new white superfast high speed router

I upgraded my broadband to the new white superfast router several months ago, however since then I get fairly frequent freezing between my mini box and main SKY  Q box.  When SKY Q was installed they included an extender/booster,  a white oblong shape 3 green lights and WPS button, no model number on it.  After reading many posts on here it seems that the new superfast routers are not compatible with the old extender/boosters and I need a pod extender/router.   SKY seem to have put so many hurdles in place to avoid making direct customer contact to exchange the old extender for a new pod extender.  Any suggestions on how to contact SKY to achieve the impossible or do I just cancel SKY now as there are so many competitive equivalents available now.

The Q mesh is now a decade old, and realistically the platform is approaching end of life.  It's not really surprising that Comcast has chosen to deploy a different router architecture.

Unfortunately a Max pod won't resolve Q Mini box issues.

thanks for that, yes have been doing more reading and I see it's a totally different mesh system.  Nothing like inter system compatibiity.

@Scampo999 as you have the new max router you now need to connect your mini boxes direct to the main box. If you need the booster/extender you should be able to connec t the booster/extender to your Q main box with the WPS button  then connect the mini boxes to the booster/extender by wifi with the WPS button
