Wonder if anyone can help my SKY Q remote is not functioning correctly, number 7 plus the mute, volume down keys not operational. Was planning to resync the remote that controls the upstairs box but need 7 to function to do this, any other work rounds or ways to sort, obviously happy to replace the remote but no point if I cant unsync the faulty one!

If your Sky Q remote is definitely broken/faulty, if you follow this link it should allow you to do some troubleshooting and then it’ll send you to a form to request a replacement (this is not available for customers in the ROI).

It might be quicker to purchase a new one from a retailer / main supermarket. If you do that as well you’ll always have a spare.

Thank you will do that, do you know of a way to get around the remote unsync as stated but 7 is not functioning and that button and 9 need to be pressed to perform the unsync

hi @debster73
Any new remote will synch/pair with the box without the old one being reset.
