I have recently upgraded to SKY Q UHD as I have a denon ATMOS amp and I have purchased an LG C22 55". When I sopke to SKY i explained I wanted a Q box that would work to sream 8K UHD and that would woork with dolby atmos. My order took over a month before I got the Q box due to sky staf nincompetence.
I have now found that when I use Netflix through my amazon fire a lot of their films and documentaries show as ATMOS and UHD but when I use my SKY Q box to access Netflix not one of the shows have the Atmos or spacial logo. Also, my Denon amp when on ATMOS the volume bar turns to pink and says ATMOS but does not do this on SKY boxsets, Netflix or Disney Plus.
I have checked all my setting under setup and sound and vision and they are correct.
Can anyone give me a sensible answer?

Afraid Sky Q does not do Dolby Atmos on any Apps.
Dolby Atmos is not available via TV apps on Sky Q, such as Disney+, Netflix etc. If you want to experience Dolby Atmos while using these, you'll need to switch to the app on your Smart TV.

I think things have moved on and I do get Dolby Atmos on Disney + so can you try that @AlunCT
(I am using Lightyear as an example - but do check that you will get the 4K version by cheking the App settings in the App)
Although I think the other apps still don't give Atmos -
Edit - Just checked Amazon Prime App & this also works with Atmos (Rigs of Power / Carnival Row S2)
But Netflix still doesn't
You only get Atmos on some SKY Q UHD content - the labelling for which you get Atmos on is a bit hit & miss - I know Discovery of Witches has it
P.S. I don't use the SKY Q apps other than for tests as I find the TV or Firestick versions superior - especially with the use of Dolby Vision as well as more support for Atmos

Although I can't find the discussion & I can't be sure I remember all the details but if I am rembering it correctly someone with a Denon amp who did not have overhead connected speakers found his amp did not show the Atmos logo through SKY Q
So can I ask do you have overheads connecetd or is it just a 5.1 (or 5.2) set up ?
Edit : although I haven't read it again in detail, here is the discussion I referred to that I remembered:
