Er, ok.  Value for money varies for many - if you don't it is then don't subscribe...

I am just another Sky customer and my views are my own even if you don't like the answers

It is a waste of money because less and less content is being shown through sky and moving to other providers.

But also whats worse is the way you have to ring up to negotiate a price at the end of your contract. Its too tedious.

I was paying £85 for full fibre BB, Sky Sports, Signature and Netflix will all hd. This was after the April price increase. This was going up at the end

of my contract to over £120. Rang up to get a price and they said best was £92. So put in cancellation. Rang week later it went to £78 but I still said no. Then the return boxes arrived so tried last time and it went to £72.... but by this time i thought why do i keep doing this so just said no and returned the equipment.

If you got money and time to waste then sky is for you.

I didn't have to negotiate at all, our contract was ending on the 8th Feb this year, however Sky has automatically rolled it over, with all the discounts, for another year. Which does also suggest they aren't pushing out Glass or Stream to strongly either.

I've looked at NowTV and despite it being cheaper, not by much, it will never offer the same experience as SkyQ and makes watching tv a faff. Whilst for your viewing needs it maybe too costly for others it isn't because of the ease of use.

But it depends what discounts your getting. And if it rolled over for another year at the same price then that would include the last April price increase.

It does have the a better user interface than streaming devices but it comes down to what u watch. But even then there are other boxes on the market that do similar stuff like record etc...

You soon get use to it all. Once the picture is on the screen I just watch it.
