SKY Q Main Box losing connection to internet after a few mins

I have just changed over from SKY Broadband to Go fibre. All my other devices have connect and stay connected no issues. But my SKY Q main box keeps losing connection to the router after a few mins. Why does this keep dropping out when my mini boxes stay connected to the router but as the SKY Q goes offline the mini boxes stop working. I have re logged into the new router a dozens times for the Q box. Needing some help please.

Hi @Chrisday1111 , I'm having the same issue, having switched from Sky Broadband to Swish full fibre this week. Have you managed to resolve your issue?

No still have the issue. I have been bouncing between Sky and GoFibre and getting nowhere. I have a Sky Eng coming out on the 29th Nov.  Sky say to Hard wire my Router to my Sky Q box but it is about 20+m away and through 2 doors. So hve not tried this, I have been told the Sky Eng can do this can we check if this works But it does not solve the issue as how do you run the cable!!!

I find it mistifing that everything was OK when I had Sky Boradband. Only changed to Go fibre as Sky could not provide a very good internet speed. But the day I change over to Gofibre the SKy Q box does not work. GoFibre say they dont have issues with other cutomers with Sky. 

Will post what the Sky Eng comes up with.

It seems that Sky does not like my fibre broadband Mesh WiFi extenders, as Sky has its own mesh system and the two clash. Hard wired the Sky Q box with a 20m cable to the router and also connected my old Sky WiFi extender box to the router to help think the Sky box is connected to a Sky WiFi and this works. Not perfect but it seems to have worked.
