I am a Saints season ticket holder & I go to all home games. I like to set up my recording of the game through the week because I am obviously not at home for the start of the game. This doesn't seem possible now, or am I just being dumb. If you can't record a game that is a very backward step.

It is a full email address. ".co.uk" is just a convention. Internet domains don't have to use that suffix format.

Pretty much what it says on the tin.
I'm in contract for sky sports for another 8 months or so, but the arrival of sky sports + has fundamentally changed what and how I can watch the sports I want.
I literally cannot record what I could before, I can only watch a RL game live while sat locked to my couch, not at my convenience as before, and drastically reduces the scope of games I could watch because of this, 1 or maybe 2 games a week if I'm lucky, at fixed times that I can't pick instead of 6 I could watch at my discretion.
So can I legally ditch the sky subscription without penalty with this unasked for change in service?
Thanks,
Ed

All 6 are back on 'normal' channels next week for the magic weekend.

I agree - the contract seems to cover 'changes' in such a way that there's no breach for recent changes.
Of course, you could call Sky and argue your case - they can release you from the contract only if they agree to though.

Err, correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't they in the Premiership now?

I thought the same (as in Southampton FC) but perhaps @Chrisb02 is referring to another team nicknamed the Saints, Rugby team maybe?

@Mister_Dalek wrote:Sky have been very careful in all the marketing of Sky Sports+ to only mention the additional amount of live sport that the new app offers. There's no mention of being able to watch full matches on demand afterwards. As previous Sky marketing was keen to mention - it's only live once....
Well some of the marketing has been a tad iffy. I have seen some marketing material not even mention the word "live" over the past few weeks.

Aww..we are the red devil fans but when we lived in Eccles.it was so easy to get to the matches but as we now live in English border..no chance..but you are right we cannot now record in advance ...you have to be actually in from of the box...but I did email to complaints and apparently they are trying to resolve this issue with the relevant people...ummm yes I'm a bit cynical

I totally agree with all that is said here and hope that skysports plus is a disaster and fails miserably and we can go back to watching the great game of rugby league like before as this is alienating and isolating people who ant to watch it and having the pleasure of having to pay for it aswell well done sky and the rfl for coming up with a terrible platform

So it's safe to say that the general consensus is this is a massive own goal for Sky. As I originally posted, Sky reinventing the wheel to make it squarer!
As others have posted, we've had two thirds of the RL season being able to watch/record every match at our own leasure, to now having two matches fully live and four with five minutes of highlights were you automatically find out the score before hand. What a tremendous improvement in customer satisfaction, they need to be commended!!!
Just like the 6 months free Apple tv that didn't work, or the supposed free Paramount+ that after a over a month of being led around in circles still does this day still refuses to work!!
Unfortunately, I don't pay £40 a month for "highlights", Sky Sports is gone, I shall source it "elsewhere"......................................

I think it's fair to say already that this has been as well thought out and received as sky's version of peacock.
