This thread was not about VPN's. This was about how we are being forced into the past not the future. When we only had four channels and no recording, you had to decide what to watch and what to miss.
If you had something going on when a programme was on you missed it. Recording changed all that, particularly for sport.
I have checked Thursday's St Helens game and there is only a 6 minute 'highlights' video of the game. There does not appear to be a facility to catch up on a showing of the full matches that were played simultaneously and you had to choose to watch one or the other on Sky Sports+. I accept that it is different for series and other programmes as there is a catch-up facility, but this is supposed to be a step forward in watching sport, not a step back. We will now be forced to rise at silly o'clock to watch 'live' sport, shown only on Sky Sports+, from other countries, with no facility to record it!

In addition to the short highlights, the full St Helens vs Salford match is available in the Sky Sports catch up section, under rugby league.
The exact method to find it is: Press Home, scroll down to Sports, select Rugby League, then scroll down past Live & Upcoming, Latest News etc and you'll find Catch-Up. Both the highlights and full match are available there.

On your Sky Q box type in Live Super League I haven't got access to my Sky Q box so I used Sky Go instead with the option if needed to download to your box.

I have emailed Sky to complain, so we will see what sort of reply I get...
The Thursday game was on one of the 'main' channels, so presumably that's why it's possible to watch the match in full via catch up...

That appears to be the case.
The information that I have is that anything shown on Sky Sports+ as a live stream will only have highlights available to watch on demand.

And the highlights of last night's games were 3 or 4 minutes long and had the final score in the programme description, so not really worth the effort!

As @lettice suggested I would recommend reaching out to Sky directly on this: ViewerR@sky.uk

Sometimes they veer off unintentionally, it depends how people reply.

That is correct but there is nothing any of us as customers can do about it.
I and others have fed this back through the available channels directly to Sky, I would highly recommend you do so too via email: ViewerR@sky.uk

It's not a link, you should copy and paste it into your email client of choice, or you can go here to click on it under "Programming Complaints": https://www.sky.com/help/articles/how-to-make-a-complaint

Matches on the red button are not available On Demand! Why haven't Sky put the NRL matches on the red button and leave the super league matches as were. Dreadful decision!!!!!
