Returned SKY equipment not received by SKY

Hi, 

 

I recently left SKY and sent back the SKY equipment (Qbox and router) on 02/09/2023. I have a proof of postage receipt and a Royal Mail tracking number (https://www.royalmail.com/track-your-item#/tracking-results/ZF812307237GB)

 

The link indicates that the parcel appears to be stuck at the Royal Mail South Midlands Mail Centre as there have been no tracking updates since 04/09/2023.

 

Since I have fulfilled my obligations of sending back the kit and have proof of postage, I don't think that there is anything more I can do - as such I believe that SKY should mark my account as equipment returned.

 

I've been truing to notify SKY about this but several telephone calls result in the agent being confused as their system is not working or running slow. I even spoke to one person who jst lied and said the equipement was retuened and for me not to worry - even though this is blantanly not the case since SKY keep messaging me to remind me to return the kit!

 

As such, I would be really grateful if someone can provide be with a SKY contact who I can discuss this with - I don't want to be charged for non-return of equipement due to a failure of Royal Mail.....

I’ve escalated your post to Sky and the Messaging Team may get in touch with you later.

Look out for a blue/red speech bubble at the bottom of your forum page. Once that appears you have 48 hours to click on it and join the private chat or it will close automatically. If you fail to respond to each chat reply within 48 hours the chat will again close down automatically even if your issue hasn’t been resolved. Replies from Sky are not instant so you’ll need to regularly check the chat thread.
