Replacing main TV will Sky Q retain my recordings?

I'm getting a new main TV and am concerned that when I disconnect then reconnect the Sky Q box I will lose the recordings I have. Please can anyone advise on this?

The recordings are on your Q box, not the TV.

 

Changing the TV only will not lose your recordings.

The recordings are on your Q box, not the TV.

 

Changing the TV only will not lose your recordings.

hi  @ET-PHONE-HOME 

 

Do not worry, the recordings are stored on a hard disc in the SKY Q main box & won;t be affected by changing your TV

@ET-PHONE-HOME your recordings will be fine they are stored on the hard disk on the Q box and will only be deleted if you delete them or the hard disk fails 


I may be a Sky Superuser but I am still just a Sky customer
