Replacement equipment after flood ?

Question is please - My father in law has recently been flooded completely down stairs which In turn has effected his sky equipment! ie :- sky box, router and leads !!! How is he on for getting these replaced ? Is there a cost involved or is it a free replacement of the effected items ? After all it was of no fault of the customer whatsoever? Any information will be very much appreciated! Thank you.

He would need to contact Sky but I presume he has already contacted his house insurance company.

Thank you for your prompt reply ! Yes he has but he may have thought he just had to speak to SKY themselves directly ?

All Q equipment is owned by Sky.  There may be a cost to replace them (unless covered by insurance).

I am just another Sky customer and my views are my own even if you don't like the answers
