Replacement Sky Q box frequently fails to connect to Samsung TV

Same problems as old Q box 9 years eventually permanently frozen hence replacement Annoying thing some days connects ok Mostly failure first switch on of TV Settings on q box ok as been through numerous resets with Sky customer care who fail to realise problem becoming unliveable with. 23 years and VIP mean nothing to Sky Anyone out there can you help?
