Removing the letters HDMI1 from tv screen

When watching sky tv the letters HDMI1 appear on the upper left part of the screen.  Normally can be ignored but when watching sport it hides the score!

That would be a TV setting.

Hi @Buttons18   That is being shown by your TV, nothing to do with Sky Q. If you mention the make and model of your TV then there is a good chance that one of your fellow members on the community can help you turn it off.

You'd need to use the television remote control to interact with that message: a Sky remote (even if set up to control volume) cannot do so.

Thanks folks.  The TV is quite old, it's a Panasonic, model no. TX-32LXD60.  If anyone can tell me how to remove the HDMI1 I'd be grateful

The answer has already been posted @Buttons18 

You need to use the Panasonic TV remote (not the Sky Q remote).

Look for a button marked info
