My packages are all due to finish their low/offer prices and my bill go up is to go up next month so I'm preparing for the usual round of negotiations.
I currently have sports and cinema all available in UHD now my question if I was to ditch sports and cinema is it still worth having UHD I think not or can someone tell me otherwise?
If I also go rid of UHD would that mean the apps I watch via Sky Q would also lose the UHD/HDR functionality? I am assuming that if I got rid or sky UHD I would still be able to watch UHD content via
the apps on my TV.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreI don't think it wokld affect the apps.
There are some TV shows in UHD you would lose but most UHD content is sports & cinema.
