Remote not included with new box delivered

Just had a new box and broadband package delivered for install later this month but when I had a look inside there is no remote with it? Is this usual

I suspect you may have received one of the types of Hub (router) for broadband rather than a Sky television box.

The Q Hub in the middle is a very similar shape to Q television boxes, but the latter always have an HDMI port on the rear panel while Q Hubs have twin ethernet ports and a phone socket.

Are you sure it's a Sky Q box? These are brought by the engineer when they come to install along with cables and remote.
