Hi @Del+Blade
First try rebooting your main Q box.
To reboot press Standby on your Sky Q remote (if the box responds to the remote), and then switch off and unplug at the mains.
Wait at least 30 secs and then Plug back in and switch your Sky Q box back on at the mains.
Wait for the on screen instructions to disappear and the front led to turn Amber. Then wait for 30 secs before you press Home on your Sky Q remote or if this is not working press the standby button on the front of the Q box (Amber led)
note: some features may take up to 5 minutes to return.

Thanks, I tried that but the problem persists. The help in sky.com says next to reset the hard drive. I was looking to see if there was something else to try.

hi @Del+Blade
If you are unable to make new recordings it would certainly look a hard drive issue.
If the hard drive has failed then the minis will not work at all.

When trying to access the recordings on my Sky Q Box, I am getting a buffering symbol and 'Please wait'. Also, neither of my 2 Mini boxes are working either.
Seems quite coincidental that I made significant changes to my Sky packages (cancelled Sky Sports etc) recently which ended on 10th August, now the equipment (which was working fine before I went on holiday on 14th August!?)
I've read that the Hard disk could be the problem? If this is the case, what happens next? Whilst I'm paying my monthly subscription with no level of service!?
I look forward to hopefully hearing some good news / feedback on this.

What happens next is you contact Sky, do some diagnostics and if it is faulty, get a new box sent out.
