Recordings on Sky Q playback are all out of focus at the bottom third of the picture. Is this a har

Most of my Sky Q catch up or live recordings have major out of focus issues in the bottom third of the TV picture. On occasion during the same program,  the record will be fine just like it is live. But for nearly 90% of all recordings now, it's really apparent that you cannot pick out any detail in the bottom third. It looks like a hard drive starting to fail, as it doesn't happen with live TV. anybody else have the same issue?

If you are only seeing this on recordings, it could be a hard drive issue.

Would suggest resetting your hard drive as described in this Sky Q help article;

Yes I alluded to exactly what you said. It's had three resets in the last two months. I guess a phone call to Sky's technical services is in order. I appreciate the reply.

At the end of this article you can order a replacement box online.

Save calling Sky.

If you do so, make sure you remove your current Sky  viewing card before handing over your old box to the courier, as you will need that for the new replacement box.
