Received info to transfer my Sky HD to Sky Q without any increase in charges.

Just received a letter from Sky offering to transfer me to Sky Q from Sky HD without any increase in costs. Am currently paying £49 per month for basic Sky, no extras. Is there a catch to this please.

Thanks for the info. A lot more complicated than the offer letter suggests. Just phone to make the change it says. Could be that Sky is wanting to get rid of their stock of old boxes. Thanks again

Hi @ferncot

you need to confirm exactly what package they are offering.

The Base Sky Q TV is Sky signature and this is currently bundled with Netflix (referred to as Ultimate TV) for £31.

See following link for Q

Edit Sorry @ferncot

the above link seems to revert to showing Sky Glass and stream.

Try the link on a different browser to see if you can get Sky Q info

Also you also need to check which Q box they are offering .  Some offers are for the original 1 TB non UHD box
