Reboot Sky Q first thing in the morning

Today was the second time I have had to reboot my Sky Q first thing in the morning. Everything has been working fine the previous day, however, when swithing the TV on this morning I get the Hello black screen. Usually when this happens you have to wait for the screen to go blank before pressing any buttons, but the normal screen came back without any of this preamble!

Has anyone else had this problem or has there been an overnight software update or something similar? Everything seems to work normally and I haven't had any issues before?

I've never had to reboot the box without first requesting it so it seems rather strange.

Chris

Was it before 5:45am? To reduce power use, Sky Q boxes go into a 'deep sleep' mode overnight from 02:45-05:45. If you switch the box on during this time you will get the "Hello" screen and have to wait a few minutes for it to start up, but this can be disabled in the Standby settings by turning off Eco mode.

Yes it was as I watched the Australian GP! Thanks for this, I'll change the setting from Eco mode. Grateful for the information.
