Hi - Currently going through a house renovation and builder removed the sky dish and mounting bracket. I need to get it all reinstalled along with new mounting bracket. Assume Sky would do this for me? (appreciate probably a cost for this).

Thanks I will call them tomorrow.
In the meantime, having a different issue (although could be related). My sky dish is not installed correctly (not mounted) as per above however, until yesterday, I was able to use Apps (Netflix, Prime, etc). Now I get a "To use this service, you need a satellite signal".
Internet all working but unable to watch any recordings, catchup or apps? Any ideas? or do I have to wait for the Sky engineer to arrive to reiinstall the dish?
hi @RidingWild
Yes you will need to wait until you get a signal
The SKY Q boxes need a periodic signal to keep them 'alive'. They work for a while but if it doesn't get the signal when due it effectively shuts down

hi @RidingWild
Yes SKy will do this but as you say it is likely to cost & we believe the charge is currently around £65
You could also get quotes from local satellite installers - although you need to make sure they can set up & test the signal suitable for SKY Q

Hi @RidingWild
Would probably cost in the region of £65 with Sky

Would rather have a Sky engineer complete the job and £65 is fine. Do I just call their customer services team?
