Re: BBC 1 & BBC 2 no catch up on both my Q boxes
I have Sky Q, and have been trying to download from Catch Up BBC Channels since Friday with no joy at all. I can see the 'feature. most popular, box sets and categories, but not BBC Channels or All. I move to these and I get the message "We are having trouble reaching this service".
As BBC 4 is our most watched channel, and the channel we most frequently want to catch up on, this is driving me nuts.
Anyone got any suggestions?

Re: BBC 1 & BBC 2 no catch up on both my Sky HD plus boxes
I should add, that going to Catchup TV, then BBC, then Channels is where the fault lies.
Both 'Channels' and 'All' produce a statement saying "Sorry there are currently no programmes of this type available'.
As I was looking for items that had been on BBC 4, I followed suggestions on here, and searched for the items using the Sky search mechanism, and found the items I wanted to download.
But I would very much like to know whether it is a problems with Sky or the BBC.
I note a couple of folk going on about the BBC wasting our licence fee etc. I would argue that we get extremely good value for money from the BBC. There are a few overpaid 'stars' left, but most of those involved in BBC productions are now freelance. I have worked on BBC documentaries in the past, and have friends currently working for them. They really are ordinary people making a reasonable living. 'Stars' are always the problem - Linekar is a decent enough guy who acts on the issues he speaks about - for example he has housed Syrian refugees in his home , but at £6million/annum I expect he has a rather large house, and for football comentary it is plain over the top. I have 1 undergrad and 4 postgrad degrees, and 30 years experience and earn 1/80th of that. And I know I am very well paid compared to most.

The programmes are there, they just need to be searched for until the glitch is fixed.

@stwhittle1955 My gripe with the licence fee is that I NEVER watch BBC programmes. I watch or record ITV, the occasional C4 and C5 plus live Sky Sports. Yet every year I have to fork out an extra £160 for nothing. Any other business' I'd just unsubscribe but I'm not allowed to if I want to stay legal.
Ordinary people also work for other broadcasters and make a reasonable living so don't really understand your point.

Re: BBC 1 & BBC 2 no catch up on both my Q boxes
Have noticed this problem since Friday. On just checking by going to Catch up TV and selecting BBC I notice that the Channels option has disappeared so not possible to find programmes by channel or date. Hopefully the option will return soon.
