I have just set up a JVC LT-40CR330 TV .
this model is not in the list to pair the Q box remote control.
I have the code required but don't know where to enter it.
any ideas?

Hi @Heath1
Afraid the Q Bluetooth remotes do not use codes but work on Brand and Model.
Have you tried Other brands in the pairing setup?
Sorted in one.
thankyou so much.
Can you tell me how you sorted this out please.
When it asked for the tv brand I scrolled to the bottom and selected other brand. Worked first time.
I have the same tv, same problem but tried using "other brand" and it still says the tv is not supported.
Did you have to reset the q box and remote somehow? We had the remote set up on our old Sony tv previously.
Using the q remote
press home
scroll down to settings
scroll right one
scroll down to setup
scroll right one
scroll down to remote control
scroll right and select sky Q remote
select control your TV
enter o
enter t
select 1st other brand
scroll down and select find it for me
first setting offered here worked for my tele.
I hope that helps. I just went through it as I wrote so should be the same.
Thank you - perfect!
That's great! I still have to use my JVC remote to turn on the tv is this right or do you know a better way?
If you're using a standard Sky Q remote, try the process again but pretend it's a Sky Q TOUCH remote.
I have getting so ****ed off trying to pair my standard Sky Q remote with a new Panasonic TV. I did SETTINGS>SETUP>REMOTE CONTROL>CONTROL YOUR TV
And selected Sky Q remote (standard) as that is what my remote actually is and select Panasonic and chose the option "find it for me" for the model and it went through all 23 codes and wouldn't connect and just said "Unfortunately your TV is not compatible".
Also tried the "Other Brand" approach and it immediately said "Unfortunately you TV is not compatible".
However, when doing this process again but instead selecting "Sky Q TOUCH Remote" (which my remote definitely is not!) and then selecting "find it for me" the first code worked!
