Problems with my remote on a sky q mini box. It will not change channels or volume

Problems with my remote I have tried pairing it, get to point of remote control set up but the remote will not let me press continue.  I can get the home screen but cannot change channels or volume.  Voice requests and pause works.  What can I do to get it working properly.  Thank you

Hi @Diane77 

First reboot your Mini box.

To reboot press Standby on your mini remote (if the box responds to the remote), and then switch off and unplug at the mains.
Wait at least 30 secs and then Plug back in and switch your mini box back on at the mains.
Wait for the on screen instructions to disappear and the front led to turn Amber. Then wait for 30 secs before you press Home on your mini remote or if this is not working press the standby button on the front of the Q box (Amber led).

Then 

On your mini remote press and hold 7 & 9 on the remote until it's led flashes four times.

This will set the remote to infrared mode which will work all boxes in line of site.

Remember to point the remote at the mini .

If you can get the mini working then try to repair the remote again by pressing 1 & 3 and following onscreen instructions.

Thank you tried all that as you suggested.  Aagain I can get to remote set up but cannot press on the continue button.

I can use the voice button that works fine.  Using the remote I can pick a programmet to record, I can pause, I can scoll channels but cannot change channels or select to play a recorded programme or change the volume.

Hi @Diane77 

Looks like you haven't reset the remote to infrared mode as per my post.

In infrared there will be no voice control as it works by Bluetooth.
