Hi @st3velj Apart from the fact that you need a deadlock letter or wait 8 weeks from making a formal complaint https://www.sky.com/help/articles/how-to-make-a-complaint before Ofcom will listen to you, you need to be careful that you don't upset the community chiefs by breaking the don't incite complaints, campaign or lobby rule https://helpforum.sky.com/t5/Get-Started/bd-p/flow?step=4

This issue had been around for a while now , sometimes it is better than this but at the moment there is a considerable delay in the audio, any audio setting only allows adding more delay, So you cannot correct it.
This needs to be addressed soon, we all pay extra fir the uhd service do it should function as adverised.

What was being broadcast when you experienced the issue: T20 World Cup EngvSA
TV Make & Model: LG OLED C1
Are you using TV Speakers or a sound system: Sound System
If you are using a sound system, what is it's make & model: Pioneer HTP074
Go to Settings > Setup > Audio Visual > What is your audio output setting set as: Dolby Digital Plus
If your audio output setting is set to some form of dolby, does this resolve if you change it to "Normal" does this resolve the lip sync issue: Nope

Mate, I was literally going to post this weekend about being fobbed off with supplying our equipment details knowing full well it's a broadcast issue. Nice one 👍🏼

This is st3velj. I'm still getting email notifications on this thread but the links don't work and i can't even get into this site from Google search!!
I've had to sign in from my girlfriends phone.
Keep going people. I'm not settling for this when i pay every month for uhd that's not watchable. Even the f1 channel was out of sync today as well as main event. It's not good enough and I'm not going to rest until i get sky to sort it out once and for all.
Spread the word if you can. 👍👍👍
Moderators, why can't i use the email notification links?
And why can't i get in from Google search?
I'd like an answer please.

This sound sync issue on Main Event UHD is beyond a joke. Has anyone any update from Sky that there is a chance they are doing something about it, to give us what we are actually paying significantly extra for?

I cam no longer watch sky sports uhd, the lip synch issues are awful, watching the cricket now and id say you get the noise of ball on bat about a second too late, its only this channel, tried adjusting settings doesnt fix issue.
I have a gold plated HDMI cable between sky Q main box and LG Oled Tv

Gold plated cables mean nothing. You need to use a high speed, preferably certified, HDMI 2.1 cable for maximum bandwidth transmission. You can pick up such cables for less than £10 from Amazon.

I've used the same cables for the last 5 years with no lip synch issues, this has been like this for the last 3 months

It's nothing to do with your cables mate. It's a broadcast issue. Even the hd channel 404 is out of sync today. Sky are aware of the issue but don't seem to be doing anything about it. It's disgusting service.

Amazed to find that this issue has been going on so long, with no apparent progress from Sky towards a fix.
I am getting the issue on Sky Q channel 401. Is this issue affecting Sky Glass / Puck users, who are receiving live sports UHD content via the Internet, rather than through a Sky dish?

Share this document please. Can you do it on this thread. Or take a screenshot of the part it refers to the sync issue
And also are any of you experiencing slight audio lip sync issues on bbc and itv hd with dolby digital setting? Seems to be very slight but there.
