Re: Prices on adverts different to the website

I heard an advert on the radio regading Sky tv F1 for £15.00 per month, so I looked on their website. It stated the same price of  £15.00. Great I thought, that's where the problem started. Upon phoning Sky and going through all the security checks I explained to the agent what I required. Years ago I was able to just have the F1 channel for£10.00 a month, so I assumed from the ad that they had reveted to this idea. Yes said the agent that would be possible, but as I would be breaking my contact  with Sky Sports I would have to pay a fee of £60.00. Ok I said because I shall saving money in the long run. Then I was told that the monthly cost would be £20.00 because I had had the Sky sports package. This didn't make any sense and I told him that nowhere in the advert or on the radio did it say that and that it was  misleading.

I also said that surely Eurosport was part of the Sky package and that now the channel had gone to TNT we should be getting a reduction in subscriptions not an increase next month. Anyway I had had ennough by now and told him not to bother changing anything, so that was that a waste of a phone call.
