Previous Owner left Sky Box and Broadband

Hi there, I've just purchased a house and the previous owner had left their sky box and broadband. I do not wish to use these products. How should I go about getting rid of them?

Exactly what products are they?

 

if it's a Q TV box the it belongs to Sky (but the previous house owner had responsibility to return it and will be charged for not doing so, assuming they've cancelled).

I am just another Sky customer and my views are my own even if you don't like the answers

I'll have to have a look when I'm back at the house today. Looks like they have a dish out back, so something related to that. Would love to have someone come pick it up if that is possible.

@Matt+Brian 

No one will pick it up from your address. If it's Sky Q equipment (owned by Sky), the previous occupant may pop back for it as they will need to return it to Sky or be charged a non return fee so put it to one side. If it's a Sky+ box that is their property and they've just chosen to leave it behind.

Hi @Matt+Brian   To be clear, does the broadband still work?  So have the previous occupants done a runner hoping to avoid early termination fees. Just in case you are not aware this is a community of customers,  not Sky customer services.
