It's great that the following was posted to close out a very long list of not very happy Sky Q Customers:

Hi everyone, all customers will now have the most recent software update QR270.000.10.09 and we're confident this has resolved the issues reported with Sky Q third party apps pixellating.
I'm really sorry again for the inconvenience but thanks to this thread we managed to share these examples and support our teams in getting to the fix 🎊
I'll lock this thread, and for any further questions, queries or feedback feel free to make a new post on your Sky Community 💪

No mention of compensation at all!! Instead a thank you stating 'thanks to this thread we managed to share these examples and support our teams in getting to the fix 🎊'
well I'm glad all our suffering as Customers helped you fix YOUR PROBLEM!!
Considering all the streaming through SkyQ was basically unwatchable for so many months you give us all back £60 each off our bills and £75 worth of SkyStore vouchers? That would be a proper thank you for all your loyal customers, not a bland thanks and a emoji - how insulting was that!

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreFrom past experience it's highly unlikely that Sky will volunteer any recompense, not least because Sky tv and the third party apps are hardly essential services.
You could complain formally.

I pay for my NetFlix via Sky but use the (far superior) native app on my TV.
