Picture breaking up intermittently and loss of sound

Hello,

I am having issues since yesterday morning with my Sky picture. It constantly breaks up and I would lose sound too and I have no idea what is causing it. I have had no bad weather recently and the sky dish has been up for 6 years with no issues until now.,

I have confirmed that the TV is working fine with no problems.

I have turned on and off the Sky Q box

I have removed all connections and cleaned them and plugged them back in

I have tried a new HDMI cable incase the one I was using was faulty and it was not the cause

I have checked my signal info on the screen. Satellite Signal has a tick beside it.

Clicking on 'more info' I can see the following info:

Satellite Signal = Locked

Signal Strength = 50

Signal Quality = 90

LNB Type = Wideband

What should be my next steps? Is it possible that my box is just broken and needs replaced or based on the signal info above could I need my dish moved slightly?

No, sorry. It has a clear line of sight and nothing has changed in that regard. I don't know what else to try.

@Mhos have you checked the cables going into the back of your box from the dish are in correctly and screwed in tight

failing that it may well be that your dish has moved slightly so you would need to contact Sky to get an engineer out to check that

I may be a Sky Superuser but I am still just a Sky customer

@Mhos are there any trees bushes etc that maybe growing up that could p[ossible block the dishes line of sight to the satellite dish
