I tried the 001 thing and reset apps, it improved things greatly but still occasional sound drop , but watchable . Had no problems until last few weeks so guessing it was to do with a SkyQ update!

Having the same issue mainly on Prime Video.

Come on sky .... sort this issue out or give a fix !!! This is going on too long. Already tried an app refresh and Netflix is still pants !!

I did the app refresh and it cured the problem.

I've just replaced the Sky HDMI cable and all the picture problems appear to have gone! Luckily I had a spare cable from one of the SIX boxes I had swapped over the years. Top tip, if replacing the HDMI lead don't use an expensive one. Q Box can't cope with it. Must be the cheap Sky cable supplied.

Glad I'm not the only one here with this crappy issue. With me it's Prime and Disney+ and moments of pixelation that lasts half a second. It doesn't do it it for another few mins and there it is again.
it's so annoying. Anyone know of what SKY have officially said? Are they even aware of the issue?

I've been suffering the same issue over the past few weeks. Only seems to impact Prime. Have a 1 gig braodband and appropriate ethernet cables, so know it not that. Never been an issue before and Prime works fine on my tv app, which is a lot slower to navigate but at least doesnt get pixelated

Sky is aware of it, there is a much bigger thread about it. Sky have only replied once on this thread though.

I have had pixelated screen issues on all Apps (Prime, BBC iplayer etc) since I switched to Sky Broadband. Supposedly better upload / download speeds from my previous supplier but so far the service has been terrible. In the process of reporting it to Sky to get it fixed

Hiya.
have you tried using a proper HDMI cable like my belkin 2.1 cable.
I also did the app refresh and then when going into the settings menu you can initiate a software update. Google how, it's easy.
after doing all those things as well as hardwiring the Ethernet cat6e cable.
things seem to work now. Only issue is with Disney plus but there's a fix for that until sky sort this crap out.
go into settings in app after login and go to settings and lower video settings to 2.0GB per hour instead of the default 4.0GB per hour setting.
you should be good to go. I went the extra mile but you can go about it in whatever way you prefer.
hope this helps others. Bless!
