I'm having the same issue with Amazon Prime. The picture keeps getting pixilated. This has been going on for about a week now.

I was having the same issue with the Prime Video app. Just tried refreshing the Sky Q apps through the engineer's menu, and it seems to have solved the problem.

Thanks will give it a try

How do you do this please?

Press the Home button on the remote.
Scroll down to Settings but DO NOT press Enter.
Key in '001', then press Enter.
This should get you into the hidden menu.
Scroll down to Apps and refresh from there.
Give it 5-10 minutes then try the app again.

I am also having the same issue through the Netflix app. And the Amazon app. Can sky comment and explain or fix. It's really annoying.

There are several pages on the above thread with the same problem. Sky have commented on it too. Although there is no fix yet and apparently it will be sorted on the next software update, but we don't know when that will be yet.

Having the same problem, mainly with Amazon Prime. Has any one heard when Sky is issuing an update? Or could they respond to the thread.

Yep - same problem with Prime app on Sky Q. It pixellates but also I have the odd brief second of lost audio. Must be the Sky app as it doesn't happen if I watch it via my Apple TV box, or on an iPad etc. I wish they'd sort it out!

Have you managed to get this fixed

Nope. I tried the app reset trick and it's still doing it. Seems that Sky are now aware of it so hopefully they will issue a fix soon!

Sky has obviously done something on a previous update to cause this. Would be nice if they could apologise, mind you, not really their way of doing business.
I've been thinking of closing my account, so this gives me a final reason to do so.

Had a Sky engineer visit on the 30th August. Said he'd not heard of any problems with the apps pixalating?? Wanted to do the normal fix, swap the box out....I told him no point as it was a software issue. In fairness to him, he made a call to the app technicians, who as he put it "totally useless" So I'm afraid us poor customers will just have to wait for Sky to come up with a fix. I'm going to ask for a reduction in my monthly bill, as Sky are not supplying what I'm paying for.
