Re: Pause / rewind issue 16/09/25

I've got the same issue with my Sky+HD 2TB box today, Thu 18th Sept 2025. Had the same fault two days ago. I did a planner rebuild, no cure, then unplugged for 10 mins, still no cure and then did a forced software update and still the fault carried on. Thought my hard drive was on the way out. Just to confirm, couldn't pause, rewind or fast forward. Also at the bottom of the screen said programme had been on for over 400 mins. Showed previous programme on bottom of screen too, not the current one. Baffled completely. Then later in the day the issue just disappeared, like nothing had ever happened! Strange.

Now here we are again with the same problem?

I guess it must be a Sky issue and I hope they resolve it permanently this time.

I pay good money for my Sky subscription and this is not acceptable.

Re: Pause / rewind issue 16/09/25

Morning All, glad I found this discussion.

Got the 'Live pause is not available' last night.   Still there this morning so did the usual unplug the box.  No change.  Checked our other HD box and saw the same message, so definitely not a problem with our boxes.

As others have mentioned, I checked a few Sky channels and strangely, they work.

Hope this is fixed soon.

Re: Pause / rewind issue 16/09/25

Hi. I agree totally but can't see that happening. You can't even phone them these days. You go thru some other company who reckon they can support sky users, but if its anything to do with your account, they can't help, because they don't have access to sky systems. But of a joke really.

It's totally annoying. After all, sky isn't cheap these days and what with the cost of living, they really need to give us a decent service! Refund maybe? Ha! Pigs will fly first! 😀

Mine isn't working today either. Can't pause or rewind BBC and normal channels?

Morning All again.

Sky must have been listening, as pause and rewind is now working again on both our HD boxes. 🙂
