It's doing it again, it has been alright since a couple of days ago but is now not pausing or rewinding.

Live pause only working on some channels
My son is severely autistic and when he pauses bbc1 and other channels ( not all ) the tv Gide is showing program from hours ago

As per the advice given in the post currently marked as the answer have you rebooted the box?
Try a reboot of the main Sky Q box, then once that’s back up and running do the same with any mini boxes if applicable -
~ Using the remote put your main Sky Q box into standby
~ switch the box off at the plug
~ wait at least 30 seconds and then switch the box back on at the plug
~ follow the on screen instructions
~ when the screen goes blank and the blue Q stops pulsating wait another 30 seconds
~ press the 🏠 button
Allow 5-10 minutes before things hopefully revert back to normal.

Pause /rewind issue again 18th Sep
Ca not pause or rewind ljve tv. This happened before on 16th and was sorted by Sky but has nkw happened again. Come on Sky engineers. Get it fixed please

Sky+ box still won't pause rewind or record rebooting does nothing. 18th at 7.22am.
Record Emmerdale every episode and it showed Emmerdale was still on and it was still recording at 10.30 when we switched it off last night. Seems others had the same issue with other channels not displaying in the box at the bottom of the screen what was actually on.

We know that the problem with Pause & Rewind on some channels (& also problems with CBBC/CBeebies) has occurred again on Thursday 18th September, & we have reported to SKY & any updates will be made when possible.

Will I be informed when this pause/rewind fault is corrected? Or do I need to keep checking my TV?
As mentioned by others I have found it's working on sky channels but not BBC and ITV.

There will be a reply on this discussion when it it is confirmed fixed, so if you get notifications you should be advised.
That said formal confirmation may be a short while after it has fixed so you may be able to use this before being notified.
