Parents TV samsung UE40F6400AK Now resolution not supported.

At parents house - Sky installed < 4 weeks. Ok when eng installed but occasionally on startup said resolution unsupported. Have added apps (iplayer, amazon video andd so disc +) today. Ok this morning but on return all hdmi ports replying resolution not supported. 

On startup we get the sky symbol but then the unsupported res. Message. Have powered down all devices etc. no spare hdmi but was new cable with sky q box.

 

May be we need to reset the resolution to lower level but cannot access the menu with no image.

This issue is still unresolved so have asked for an engineering appointment. When the resolution issue occurs and is displayed as a message the connection will eventually sync minutes later.

The Sky Q box is set to 1080i and this should be the setting with this TV. The port connection is now HDMI 4.
