The app on my Samsung lists both HDR10 and Dolby Vision for HDR formats suggesting that it could be available via Sky Q?
@hrai but unfortunately Dolby Vision will never be available on Sky Q as the box is not capable of handling that format
I may be a Sky Superuser but I am still just a Sky customer
Sky Q 2 TB (Silver)Box, 2 Mini boxes since June 2016, all connected by wifi
Sky Broadband Hub/SR203, Sky Ultrafast broadband
Ultimate on Demand, Q Experience/UHD, Sky Sports, Sky Cinema
LG 49SJ 810 V UHD TV, Google Pixel 7 Pro mobile

Re: Paramount+ in 4K/HDR
I've just checked both the Stream App and native app on my Samsung QLED and Sky Stream shows Dolby Vision and Atmos and the TV shows HDR10 and Atmos but neither play HDR so I'm guessing the file formats are there but subject to subscription levels.,

Re: Paramount+ in 4K/HDR
Fyi you can now upgrade to Paramount+ Premium through Sky Stream but the extra bit is billed separately to a bank card

Re: Paramount+ in 4K/HDR
Hi folks,
I believe I know what the issue is with the Paramount+ app not showing 4k uhd content on Sky Q.
It's because all Sky q uhd boxes only support hybrid log gamma HDR and will not play Dolby vision , hdr10, etc
Also, assuming you have a 4k hdr tv (which should be fine), you will need to have the right hdmi cables....they need to be hdmi 2.1 or later.
personally, I only watch Sky uhd hdr content via my Sky q box and subscribe to all other apps via my smart tv, which supports all formats of hdr, and I have no issues watching any 4 k uhd hdr on any of the apps.
best wishes, Bill.

The SKy Q boxes do support HDR10 as well as HLG - they don't support DV
It is SKY UHD content that only uses HLG (as welll as Iplayer - the same as on other devices)
Netflix, Disney+, Amazon Prime all use HDR10 on their apps on SKY Q

Although I have no way of testing it as I do not have the 4K upgrade for P+, I believe the P+ does indeed now also have 4K HDR using HDR10 on SKY Q
It may be worth noting that your post was on an old discussion regarding the Paramount + app on SKY Q before P+ subscription upgrades to 4K were available via SKY

Re: Paramount+ in 4K/HDR
I can confirm if you have a premium account and log into the Paramount + app on the Sky Q box Dolby vision tagged content plays in HDR10 (And Dolby Atmos too if it has it.
As tested with Quiet Place 2.
