Paramount+ APP says I am in US

This started last week for the first time, when you go to the Paramount+ app it now says we are in the US despite living in the UK. I don't know if it's the fact we are using Starlink for our Internet.

Are you also using Starlink @Laura19792? If not, who is your provider?

 

When this happens it's because the IP address you're on is being identified as from the US and platforms are geolocked so that you can't access the UK platform from the US and the US platform from the UK etc. because of content rights. 

Although you're viewing Paramount+ on Sky the issue is probably more at your ISP level, and then if they can assure you that it's a UK IP then probably Paramount+ support. 

Over on the Stream forum we've recently had a lot of people using 4th Utility as their ISP have similar issues because their standard router was doing something weird, channelling everything from the USA for some reason so it's not unheard of for ISPs to do weird things here.
