Ordered Sky Q but want streaming instead!

Last week we went back to Sky following an email offer of £42.50 for Sky Q, broadband & Netflix. Broadband is now set up, Sky Q engineer due 18 Feb. However, we have just seen the current ad for only £35 using a streaming puck & would prefer this as it will save us OAPs £180 during the 2 yr contract.
On phoning Sky just now, we were told we have to wait to have Sky Q fitted, then phone them to ask about streaming offers! What? So the engineer has to set up the box, then has to return to disconnect? We are in the cooling off period anyway, why can't we have the advertised deal? Any help greatly appreciated, thank you...

Personally I'd suggest refusing the dish installation when that appointment arrives.

You have a cooling off period, I'd be calling.

Re: Ordered Sky Q but want streaming instead!

I think the problem may be that the b'band box is here & connected, it is just the SkyQ had to wait for an engineer & now we would prefer to stream. The guy we spoke to was most unhelpful...

Even with the dish in place you can still refuse the Q installation.
