OpenReach have cut off my phones upstairs when the new cable was installed on 8/5/24.
When Roy the OpenReach engineer called he connected the new line but did not go direct to the tv but took the long path to the wifi device. In the process has cut off my phones upstairs. I did immediately text him but he has not as yet responded? Can you help pls?

Afraid you need to contact Open Reach.
The Sky Q forum cannot help.

Re: OpenReach have cut off my phones upstairs when the new cable was installed on 8/5/24.
If you've been switched to SOGEA broadband (where a telephone handset plugs into the rear of an ISP router) then internal extension sockets will no longer work because they aren't receiving a PSTN signal.
Unfortunately this is going to happen to everyone over the next 18 months prior to national PSTN switch-off: the typical solution is to invest in a set of DECT handsets.
In theory there's also Voice Re-Injection (VRI) which re-enables internal sockets, but Openreach and its client ISPs have decided not to offer this, essentially because Openreach no longer wishes to support such cabling.
