Ongoing discovery plus upgrade pass issue and can’t get hold of sky

Discovery plus issues with the account recognising the sky subscription 

 

spent about 8 hours on this now been on multiple virtual chats and really struggling to get human help from sky on this 

app is set up and working but get the response upgrade pass.  I see it's a common issue.  I've activated the account.   I've tried it again several times even tried to set up a new account.   Sky just say the account is linked .. clearly not properly. 

I've followed every thread I can find from restarts , Sw updates , store activation links etc.   nothing seems to work.  Spoken to discovery who say it's a sky issue.     Impossible to get sky human support .      Somebody on here mentioned an account reset and perhaps this is what I need ?

@Bazza8 at a guess you will need the premium subscription to watch Champions league football skys free discovery + doesnt give you premium subscription

Same problem here tonight. Pretty furious actually given the amount I am paying to Sky monthly. I have a TNT subscription and have been in touch with Discovery+. They said Sky need to sort this. I can't do it myself. Just that there's no one available to help at this time.

Just to clarify, I have TNT through Sky and according to a Discovery+ helpline that should give me access to Premium.

Maybe it's just as well as I do not like the new way, it's presented

it was much better when JAMES Richardson was doing it.

I've just watched a bit of the highlights show and they've made that worse as well

Got the very seem issue now as well. What is the resolution? Can't be true this is still an issue 2 years on...

I managed to resolve this myself by activating Discovery Premium on the mysky app. Found it under 'your products.'
