Software updated, reboot, etc. Didn't cure the Disney Problem, last night happened with Prime. This just seems nuts.

Refresh Apps changed the delay in going to black screen from about 10 to 15 minutes to about 3 or 4 minutes. That's weird.

What make/model of TV is your box connected to? Are you using the HDMI cable that came with the Q box?

Hi @Dweller
Have you tried a Reset Settings in the Q box hidden menu.
To enter hidden menu press Home and navigate down to Settings but do not select Settings.
With Settings highlighted press 0 0 1 Select.
Only Carry out the first Reset (Reset Settings) as the other two will wipe all recordings.
After the Reset you will have to re pair your Bluetooth remote If you use one.
If you cannot switch the Q box on with the remote after the Reset press the Standby button (Amber led) on the front of the box.
To re pair the remote press 1 & 3 together on the remote and follow onscreen instructions to re pair.
Make sure that you are pointing the remote at the Q box when you press 1 & 3 together.
Resetting the settings will also reset:
Audio visual settings, such as picture resolution and HDMI control
Settings changed within the hidden engineer menu, include LNB type. If on a communal dish you need to reset the LNB to SCR in the hidden menu. After changing the LNB type you need to reboot the Q box.

LG. no, another good cable I bought recently (which stopped messages about my HDMI cable).. If the cable were a problem I doubt it would be selective.

It might be selective if you're trying to play 4K content from Disney+ and Prime which has HDR. This requires more bandwidth than the standard SDR output from the Q box. Also, if the cable is longer than 3 metres then dropouts can occur due to the lack of speed over distance.

@SlenderRobert Thanks.I t's the cable I used with no problems on my old Sky Q box. I did the 001 reset mentioned above and lost all my apps, got them back and once again of course had to sign in, except for Netflix which has not been a problem. High speed 4K cable, reviews say it works with Sky Q,, one said it solved their black screen problem. It's only 2m. So far as I can see, I'm not playing 4K content but this cable should (and did with the old box) handle it.

@SlenderRobert Put the HDMI cable that came with the new box on, Disney and Prime still crashing to black screen after a few minutes.
