Non Stacking of Recordings - Better but not solved!

channel 5 HD.     22 kids & counting 

All look like they are going to end up in other/ misplaced order in the stack / missing tiles

Can you look at this please,

@Chloe-W22I have missing thumbnails for tomorow BBC1 HD, 5:35pm celebrity mastermind, 6:05pm celebrity Bridge of lies and 6:50pm Michael mcintryres big show and 7:50pm that's my jam and 8:50pm Casualty and Sunday Ch5 22 kids and counting 8pm  This is only happening on my main box  which i have rebooted, my mini box is fine which I find rather strange that my mini box is showing the thumbnails and the main box isn't

i have this issue as well i rebooted my box and checked wi-fi and not worked

Waterloo Road on BBC1 HD is not stacking for me (none of the 3 recorded so far). Also ITV4's Grand Prix Snooker was stacking at the start of the week but then stopped.

It really surprises me not only how long this 'fix' is taking but how hit and miss it seems to be. If only there was more transparency about the root cause it may be easier to understand the situation...

Mine has been going so well of late...

Then, junior bake off... in the same stack, but one in series 7, one in series 8. But the description of them both in says they are series 4. Confusing? Yep

@Chloe-W22 Had a series link set up for Mystery Road.  Episode 3 recorded fine last week but not episode 4.  When I went to download it noticed that the series number had magically changed from 3 for the previous numbers to 1, so it appeared in a new tab. I guess that's why series link failed.

Another oddity. Great Pottery Throw Dow. I have it on series link, but every week, there are 2 recordings from the same time and the same channel. Also the description says series 4, the thumbnail says series 6.

That's an issue that happens from time to time and has been since the year dot.

I am still getting Escape to the Country and Corrie stacked all over the place. It really is time they sorted this issue out. Getting really fed up with it.

Metadata appears to be the core issue behind various problems, namely:

series links failing;

recordings failing;

recordings not stacking; and

thumbnails not appearing.

Please can we get an update on when it will all work as it should.  We have had issues ever since we moved from Sky HD over a year ago.

The two recordings will be due to Channel 4 launching regional versions of their HD channel recently. You have a recording from the original national version of Channel 4 HD and the new regional version. Only the adverts will differ.

It's not related to the current metadata issues that are causing non-stacking recordings, but I expect a lot more reports of these double recordings over the coming weeks as the BBC launches HD regions in England, and people get recordings from the national BBC One HD and the new regional versions.
