No upgrade to Sky ultimate

Been speaking to Sky about upgrading my Sky signature pakage to Sky ultimate - apparently it can't be done. This seems to contradict what is shown on theor website. Is anyone aware of recent changes that prevent Sky Q customers doing this.

There is a subtle difference between Ultimate on SKY Glass/Stream and SKy Q , in that Ultimate on Glass/Stream is a full packge that includes Netflix & all the base entertainment channels

On SKY Q Ultimate is just an add on for Netflix  - this is and should be available

Do you already have Netflix via SKY or is that what you were wnting or something else ?

Perhaps it is just a matter of terminology

Thanks for the response - I already have Netflix premium with sky, but believed that there was a potentially better deal by upgrading to ultimate ie Signature is coming in at around £35 per month - Ultimate at around £28 for basically what I have at the moment. My current set-up is that I have Signature, HD, Ultra HD with Netflix Premium - I intend ditching Sky Cinema and Paramount + (hate the ads) currently pay £65 - soon to go up to £95. On looking at what was available my understanding is that by moving to Sky ultimate with Ultra HD and Netflix premium this would likely save me £15 -£20 per month on my current tariff. Perhaps I was being too optimistic and will just need to negoitaite based on my current Signature  configuration.

Unfortunately - as you may have gathered from my earlier reply - The Ultimate offer you are seeing is just for Glass/Stream customers which is where the best deals are.

(Not forgetting that some deals are for 'new' customers only)

I think there are still some deals for SKY Q packages but I think they rarely match those for Glass/Stream these days .
