Hi @BrianAnnall 

Satellite signal does not affect areas unless it's due to heavy cloud or storm cover.

Work through the following link and if you cannot solve your issue it will lead to booking a Engineer.
Alternately, if you are on a Communal Dish you will need to contact your Landlord or Management company.

@BrianAnnall  Is there heavy snow fall in the area, if so that would affect your satellite signal.

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.

Cloud cover problems are not likely to last several hours.

 

It is far more likely that the strong winds have moved your dish & will need re-aligning
