No sattellite signal for 2 days - tried everything.

It is so frustrating. No sattelite signal on my TV displayed for the last 2 days. I have tried all steps recommended and even with virtual assistant.Earliest engineer is on 2/6/25. Could some one please advise ? Thank you

You've booked an engineer and that'll be the earliest availability.

 

Check that the connections from the Sky dish going into the back of your Sky Q box are still finger tight.

 

The Sky Q box requires a periodic 'Keep alive' signal that is delivered via the satellite so if that isn’t received the box will close down until the satellite signal is restored.

If dish realignment is required then the only alternative to waiting for a Sky appointment would be to book (and pay for) a local independent contractor to carry out the work.
